My name is Joe Nuzzo, and I’ve been teaching photographers how to get the most out of their cameras for years through Shutter Speak, my YouTube channel and education platform focused on Nikon Z systems, lighting, editing, and real-world shooting techniques. Before building my education business full time, I spent decades behind the camera as a press photographer in New York covering the NHL, major concerts, pop culture events, and national publications, experiences that continue to shape the practical way I teach today.
My approach is built around helping photographers move beyond button pressing and truly understand why their camera settings work. Whether it’s autofocus, exposure, lighting, Photoshop, or workflow, I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear steps that photographers can immediately use in the field. My goal is always to help you feel more confident with your gear and more creative with your photography.
